Can Artera be used to Message non-US Phone Numbers? 

No. Artera does not support sending text messages or phone calls to any phone number that does not have a +1 country dialing code.

Which Locations can be Messaged with Artera?

Artera supports Conversational Messaging with any number that uses the +1 dialing code. These countries, states, and territories include:

  • All 50 US States

  • Canada

  • Puerto Rico

  • Guam

  • US Virgin Islands

  • Northern Mariana Islands

  • American Samoa

  • Recipients with +1671 area code only are supported

U.S Virgin Islands

  • MMS converted to SMS with embedded URL

  • One-Way Messaging only 

  • Recipients with +1340 area code only are supported

Northern Mariana Islands

  • Hosted phone numbers are not supported (purchased Lines only)

  • MMS converted to SMS with embedded URL

  • One-Way Messaging only

  • Recipients with +1671 area code only are supported

American Samoa

  • MMS converted to SMS with embedded URL

  • One-Way Messaging only

  • Recipients with +1684 area code only are supported
