Conversation Flows: This functionality allows you to work through multiple scheduling steps automatically through the Conversation Flow engine and does support write backs for Referral statuses. However, this does require purchasing Conversation Flows in addition to the standard Referrals package.
Standard Triggers: This functionality is included with your Referrals purchase. One thing to note is that write backs for referrals are not supported today with this process.
Since there are many potential ways to configure the Referral Management function to fit your existing workflow, we have provided a few examples of both Triggers leveraging Conversation Flows and Standard Triggers.

Conversation Flows & Referrals
Some organizations have opted to deliver Referral scheduling workflows using Conversation Flows. This allows a multi-step automated workflow, guiding the patient through the scheduling process with little staff intervention.
When using Conversation Flows, it is important to note that English and Spanish are currently the only supported languages, so if you need to support additional languages, consider using standard Triggers. Click here to learn how to build this Conversation in Conversation Flows.
